Hi, my name is Dean Ishmael. I moved to Morristown, Tennessee in March 2000.
I retired from the US Coast Guard in 1980. I attended Illinois State University and graduated with a BS in Accounting in May 1983. I spent twenty years in the accounting field and left accounting in February 2004. I started my Real Estate career in March 2004 and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I am now the principal broker for a brand new office in Morristown, TN. The name is RE/MAX Real Estate Ten COMMERCIAL.
I never get tired of working with customers or clients in helping them find that commerical, multi-family income producing property, or a personal residence. I have earned my e-PRO certification and I was named Realtor of the Year 2004 (my rookie year) by the local newspaper in Morristown.
I am married to Phyllis, whom also is a Realtor. We have three grown children, Michael, Carol, and Deb, and one granddaughter Lindsey.
My son Michael and I make up "The ISHMAEL TEAM". We are both fulltime Realtors with RE/MAX Real Estate Ten COMMERCIAL in Morristown, TN. Michael and I have established ourselves as specialists in the multi-family rental investment property market and are gaining ground in the commercial market every day. These properties range from duplexes to a large apartment complexes, and office buildings, retail businesses, and businesses only without real estate.
We have both recently completed a week long course dealing with investment property. Michael has completed three courses and is scheduled to complete his final required course in June 2008. All of these courses involve some aspect of the commercial investment market.
We work with single family residential properties or any type of property that a customer/client wants to see. We are located about 45 miles East of Knoxville, TN. We are situated between Cherokee Lake and Douglas Lake and a very short distance from the Great Smokies.
We have around a thousand plus rental investment properties in the surrounding area. A lot of people are reaching the point of getting out of the rental business and are ready to sell out. We average two to three new listings a month of rental properties and they turn over fairly quickly. Our areas of concentration are the towns of Morristown, Jefferson City, Newport, Bean Station, and Rogersville. This area includes the counties of Hamblen, Jefferson, Cocke, Grainger, and Hawkins of East Tennessee.
